Triple your positive parenting skills

Parenting can be hard work and unfortunately, children don’t come with instruction manuals.

Most parents learn on the job, but you can also learn some skills and tips on parenting through Triple P (Positive Parenting Program), either via an online course, group sessions or through attending seminars. It’s free for families with children aged up to 16years.

Parents who finish the program have the skills and knowledge to improve their child’s educational results, as well as reduce and, in many cases, stop their child’s social, emotional and behavioural issues from sticking.

Part of a two-year Queensland Government trial until August 2017, Triple P gives parents an opportunity to stop, take a breath and think about exactly what is going on and what they want to focus on.

Visit the Triple P website to register for free parenting seminars, group sessions or an online course. You can also phone Parentline on 1300 30 1300 seven days a week, from 8am until 10pm for immediate parenting help.
